keep calm + be mine

did you know that the Keep Calm and Carry On poster was originally a motivational poster produced by the british government in 1939 during the beginning of wwII, but never used. it was third in a series of three: Your Courage, Your Cheerfulness, Your Resolution Will Bring Us Victory + Freedom is in Peril being the previous two.

while sorting through a box of old books, a couple in england rediscovered the poster in 2000. the rest is art history!
